Supervision
The Counselling Partnership offers monthly supervision to students and experienced counsellors. Supervisors are fully-qualified, members of the BACP, and use the person-centred approach. One to one supervision costs are £30 per hour. A peer group supervision also runs for three hours monthly where qualified therapists can gain their required supervision with a group of experienced counsellors. This involves a token payment for refreshments and use of the room. In 2007 a supervisor facilitated group is expected to start for qualified counsellors. Meeting monthly for three hours the group will be comprised of up to four participants (maximum). The group therefore meets the BACP requirement for a minimum of 1.5 hours supervision. |
